1. Effective Leaders Are Learners

Introduction

Leadership is a great privilege that carries with it a great responsibility. A leader's role includes envisioning, planning, equipping, empowering, motivating, supporting and refocusing a group of people towards achieving the purposes of God in a specific place, at a specific time. No leader is worthy of such a task. In order to achieve God's purposes as a leader, it is vital that we are continually growing and developing personally. As someone has said, "Leadership is not learned, it is learning."

This study is focused on the learning process. Gaining an understanding of what it means to learn and develop, and how the learning process works.
